Well, it’s not an official Reggie the Reckless Twitter page, but I thought @ReggietheReckless1 was cool enough to share with RTR fans!

Anyway, “Reggie” is on Twitter — but “Don’t call him Dudley”! LOL.

@ReggietheReckless1 is actually kinda humorous sometimes, so check it out if you’re a Reggie fan!

What a cool fan to name a Twitter page after The Reckless.

‘Friday The 13th’ Becoming A TV Series Again

Jason Voorhees

Friday the 13th fans! Good news..Friday the 13th is headed for the small screen again.

Friday is being developed into an hour-long TV show, according to Hollywoodlife.com’s sister site Deadline.

Sean S. Cunningham, the director who oversaw the making of the original film back in 1980, will be one of the executive producers of the new TV show. Believe it or not, this is the second time Friday The 13th has been made into a regular series for television.

The first TV series aired from 1987-1990 and starred Louise Robey, Chris Wiggins, John D. Lemay. However, that storyline was completely unconnected to the to the original films, as you may know.

Jason is back! Excited?

Autographs going out tomorrow!

Fridaythe13thpart5Reggie the Reckless and Friday the 13th Part 5 fans!

Just writing to let you know that it’s Friday the 13th 2013! My lucky day, lol! Didn’t realize it was F13 but a few of you told me that Friday the 13th: A New Beginning aired on the SyFy Network and I think that’s so cool!

I always get excited when it airs on TV because even though I am no longer an actor —  it makes me feel good to know that the film continues to air on national television.

The film will always have a special place in my life. It’s not often one gets to star in a cult film series such as the Friday the 13th franchise, so I’m grateful to Paramount for allowing me to be on the DVD commentary and trusting me to help carry the film in my supporting role.

I’m very thankful.

By the way, if any of you sent me a self-addressed stamped envelope (for an autograph) — I’m getting to it; I will send back an autograph to you shortly — I’ve been very busy in school as 0f late, working on my degree, but I didn’t forget you!

Talk to you soon.

If you have any F135 questions, post them on this site and I will respond.

Warmest Regards,
Shavar Ross

Friday the 13th Part 5 Director Danny Steinmann Passes Away

Hi Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning fans.

It’s been a while since I posted on here but I need to share the said news about my friend, F13th Part 5 director Danny Steinmann…he passed away back in December of 2012.

Some of you may have heard about this already but I assume some of you haven’t, so I’m just passing along the sad news.

Danny was fun to hang around..especially during our recent renuion making the F135 DVD commentary for Paramount.

He’ll certainly be missed and I’m glad I was able to reunite with him after all of the years since making the film.

I was also able to hang out with Danny at FearFest back in 2008 and at MonsterMania in 2009.

My condolences to the Steinmann family…miss you Danny!
